i did a search already on the ORG and all i came up with was a couple of guys debating what tranny has the better final drive ratio, what i need to know is if anybody has, or knows what is need to swap a 4T45E form an 04 alero into my 98 cavalier, im also asking if it will fit cause im putting the 3400 motor in with it. will i need to change alot of mounts, how much of the wiring harness will i need form the alero, can i use the same axles, knuckle, spinles, control arms ect. any links or info will be helpful at thins point thank -jh
And on Aleromod, we all hate the ones equipped with the 3400 + 4T45E combo. Nothing but problems.

what would be a better combo, my mom drives an 04 alero with that combo, it quick and smooth, what are the comon proplems
don't everyone speak up at once
Lower intake manifold gasket leak... transmission problems (yet the 4T40E, which is supposedly the 'weaker' one of the two, is far stronger). Overall less aftermarket support. Talk to a few of the guys on here who have done the swap though, it seems to work out well for them.
