are you referring to OEMs mount? yes, i run his front mount he made and he created it to use the poly bushings we can get. everything fit quite well and i love the mount.

I've been running my GM NVG front mount for over a year now with a 95-up poly insert...

I don't see what the problem is?

The factory NVG mount will not hold the 96+ mount unless you modify the mount or the bushing. My kit allows you to bolt the factory one right back in.

Chris, you know I modified mine last year... I even posted up a how-to on how to modify a 96+ one to fit, and how much to shave off of it. It's not much.

It works perfectly and if you use one of the solid poly inserts (not with the holes) then you can have even more security in knowing it's stable. Search it up, I made a thread last year.

All you need is a drill, 2 nuts, a long bolt, a file and a clamp. Oh and a caliper to measure your progress of course lol.

I can just cut it on a lath.

The mounts I have I got from Karo, some weird prototype black one's, nice and hard.

Then cut it on a lathe... easily done. I provided the measurement in my how-to post.

Slides right in and doesn't provide a single issue.
