have a 97 cavalier 2.2 5 speed it will not shift into 4th could it be the syncros. if so could i use syncros out of a 2.4 tranny
friend of mine had that problem... he replaced his trans fluid with synchromesh and it works fine.. im not sure if it will work for your car but definately look into it and give it a try
