i would like to know which one is better the fidanza flywheel or the spec flywheel

Fidanza use to make Spec flywheels, and there seems to be quite a few older ones around.
Fidanza has a new design that should help prevent the broken flywheels. Spec now has a new supplier.

I would get the SPEC brand myself, (which I guess I have) Also we price match on SPEC setups, so if interested and you find it lower send us a PM we will evaluate the site and let you know.

lol i would LOVE to see a fidanza and a 'new' spec side by side.
Every time I scream "Release", I mean it, you know it. I feel the day. Black 7.
but which one will be better

as far as i know no body knows FOR SURE. its just 'spec'ulation that the 'new' spec flywheel is different.
it very well could be... ive just not seen any proof yet.

I'm 100% sure Spec no longer gets their flywheels from Fidanza. I was told by a Fidanza employee that Fidanza has a new design, and they no longer dealt with SPEC.
I do not know if spec if having their flywheels done to the old Fidanza/Spec flywheel design, or a completely new design.
Also, Fidanza just moved buildings, and now has an internal machine shop. "They use to farm out all their manufacturing of their products."

Personally I would steer clear of both of them unless someone could show me proof that the "new design" is better. Even if it is better I still wouldnt deal with either. Spec can suck my nuts after the BS i went through with them.
Ya, i bought a stage 2 clutch from them and the guys at the shop said it wouldnt even fit my transmission. LAME!!!

I've ran my spec for the summer..seems to be holding up good so far but haven't put too many kms on the car this year. It will be interesting to see how it holds up next summer with the turbo.
