it will match up to the motor, but the trans mounts are different between the j-body and Cobalt.

yea but i'm pretty sure the lsj has a different flywheel bolt pattern than the L61 eco. be sure to get an LSJ with the flywheel already attached.
a clutch for a jbody with an ecotec in it should mate up to it without a problem

I was thinking about doing this on my 02 eco cav. So I should be able to get it to work if I have an LSJ tranny with the LSJ flywheel? Can anyone confirm that the mounts are different?
