is there any performance rebuild kits for the trans in a 98 z24 auto? what im trying to say is there any better kits or parts i could use besides the autozone rebuid kit. sorry if its a newb question.
just swap to a stick lol sorry i had to man. mm idk you could put a B&M shift plus in it
i will never swap motor or tranny in my car. its a lot easy buying a cav with a 5-speed in it.
shift-plus WILL NOT help my tranny from slipping because its slipping. the tranny guy i know is gonna guide me through rebuilding my trans.
its slipping so bad its hitting the rev limiter(redline). only of course when stompin the gas.
i did do some surfing through some of the guys with some money under the hood and got some ideas of better @!#$, but im a cheap ass, so im buying autozone crap.
there is...search it...i don't remember the website.

Not to thread jack but I never knew that before. Mine I put on the z was a dark red almost purple which I bought off of ebay. When I brake rev it goes to like 3300. stock it would only go to like 2100. The stock one on my vert brake revs to 2700. Why did gm make so many different stall speeds? Ive heard of atleast 3 from the factory.
The converter will probably be the most noticable difference in your trans build. The car will seem peppier off the line. If you choose to spend the money on one.
