i found this vehicle on craigslist and the person says the tranny wont go into any of the gears... ive read a couple places were the cables can break... maybe the clutch? is there something common that goes on them? its really inexpensive because they cant figure it out... and i would just like to know what im getting into befor i drive 3 hours to pick it up...

could be as simple as one of the cables popped off at the shifter or trans, or could be as bad as needing the whole trans replaced.

yeah, i have a tranny in my other sunfire but i was just getting some info befor i go for it...
