In my opinion get a Stage 2. It has the same capacity as the Stage 1 with most manufacturers. But the stage 1 is the same material as your stock clutch, 2 isn't. This means that on the stage 2 you can generally be a bit meaner to it and get it quite a bit hotter before it will slip.

But with the mods you have, a stock clutch will work just fine.

Stock clutch works fine for boosted apps too.

stock clutch> stage billion spec.

Stick with LUK. be done with it.

My Spec stage 2 grabs harder then my stock one ever did. But the spec is more finiky with a couple minor flaws. So take your pick.

If you get the Stage 1 or 2 it will feel the same or nearly the same. It likely won't shift better or launch faster. For those things you'll need Driver mod.

My stock clutch had 78,000 miles on it and still worked great. 30,000 of those were boosted miles. The only reason I removed it was because I was in there anyway building the engine. A stage one clutch is usually just a stock replacement.

No clutch is going to help your launch. A more agressive clutch will only make the car more difficult to launch because of the all or nothing feel. I agree with SHOoff's post.

If you are looking to replace your clutch I would agree with Chris Taetsch that LUK is known for being a quality clutch. Infact the clutch I PMed you about is an LUK clutch kit. The disc itself is actually made by Exedy another quality name in the business.

I checked with AutoZone and O'relly yesterday and they both told me they don't carrie LUK clutch kits, AutoZone sells Duralast clutch kits, and O'relly sells Sachs clutches only, so im proly gonna order from this website.

I also called the number on their site and ask about the Luk Pro Gold Series for an ecotec cavalier and the guy told me that they don't offer a performance clutch for our cars so im just gonna get a stock replacement piece and hopelly it will last more than my spec stg 3 did.

I picked up my LUK kit from Autozone for my old GP, granted it was a few years ago.

Don't waste your time getting a Stage I. If you're going to spend the money, get at least a 2. Otherwise, just keep the stock clutch.
