does a 2004 Cavalier take after dropping the trans pan.
I did it once before but cant remember, Mitchell on Demand says 6.9 quarts, seem high.

that number is right, but for some reason I remember mine taking one more when I did it last. start with the 7qts, and then check the level from there.

1.8 quarts GM syncromesh or automatic transmission fluid. I filled mine to 2 tho.
