ok so im replace the engine in my '86 sunbird turbo with the 4 speed manual tranny. when i pulled the motor the tranny shifted fine, no problems. After installing the new engine it won't shift into 1st gear or reverse and it wants to pop out of 3rd. I didn't do anyting to the transmission itself when I did the engine swap, just dismount from the motor.

Any ideas? thanx

mabey some air in the clutch line so its not disenganing. idk if the four speed has the same slave as a 282 but i hate bleedin the 282 slave a pita
