what are you guys doing to make your tranny stronger for the 2.4l manual tranny. i have broke three of them so far and was wondering what you guys have done to beef them up a little so they are stronger. thanks

internals mainly like cams, valves, etc. but all the trannys have lost syncros in third?
yea man its common like i told ya...
i myself have gone through two 3rd gear syncros before. and in less than 10,000 miles. granted one tranny saw like 90 passes at the track that year...
best bet would be to try and locate an nvg (new venture gear) t-550 trans out of like a beretta gtz. they can still be found if you look hard enough. and sometimes you get lucky and you're local yard has like ten, it just depends on the yard.
