The tranny that came in like 90-91 Calais 442, and beretta gtz, i no the cables, mounts, slave cylinder..

u need a nvg front mount not a hm 282 mount the hm 282 never came in a two mount setup like ur newer isuzu or nvg as far as i know. the cases of the hm282 and the nvg r diffrent i put a hm282 in my 99z24 and had to build a custom front mount.

o and its gonna be a external slave compared to ur 98s internal so the stock clutch line prob wont fit. and they can be a bit of a pain too bleed.

Mine is a 92, NVG trans, but has a ext slave.

well idk yet lol the hm282 was bolted to my 3500 and just started it for the first time on saterday so ill let u know lol

easiest way to swap is the 93-94 nvg ...it uses 2 mounts like your stock tranny and bolts up pretty easy..wont have to change your clutch line,flywheel,clutch, anything
