Flex plate and torque converter interchange..

Hey guys haven't got around to getting out my other trans to have a look at the converters to compare, figured its faster to make a post and see if anyone knows 1st......

anyways 2.2 Eco Auto getrag, 2.4 Auto getrag, are the flex plates interchangeable? torque converter?

The torque converters are interchangeable, but the flex-plates are engine specific. In fact, the TCs will interchange between the 3T40/TH125C, 4T40E, TH 440T-T4/ 4T60(E) and 4T65E. dam not the answer i was looking for, Bought a 01 fire with a blown motor, engines already out, torque converters still in the car, but flex plate is gone, I have a spair eco tranny tho.
