same thing happened to me. check the line that goes into the trans under the power steering pump. its what connects to the slave. pull the clip out, pull the line out and then push it back in. make sure it goes ALL THE WAY IN. mine didnt but the clip still worked but it was not all the way in. try that before you think you have to pull the trans lol.
btw this is if you have an eco since you never said.
Yeah sorry i have a 2004 ecotec. Ill give it a try thanks
Yeah if clutch won't push in do not force it, then something is wrong. Sounds like what Vincent said.

i was so pissed lol, about to pull the whole thing out again. then someone told me, hey try that line again, worked PERFECT. made my night, built motor in and moving under its own power.
Yeah it works good. I know this isnt the right thread but maybe you guys can help. I have this harness that says PED 46 on it. And i cant find where it goes or even what its too but it looks like its some sort of power wire that runs to my starter maybe?? its 2 prong female end with orange and gray in color.. any help would be great. Thanks in advance
mine has done the same thing..except i pushed to hard and snapped my master cylinder aparently..thats the same problem i had with mine...i am pretty sure it was connected securely at the trans...if it wasnt..wouldnt it piss fluid there?? i didnt see any leaks...then again..the resivoire was empty then i filled it ..and then it snapped right after
