I have figured out a problem that i figured was fuel related is my tcc solenoid sticking which i've read is a common problem on GM cars...
The amount of time, effort and money involved in fixing it seems varied greatly depending where i look... some say its a simple thing, others say its a 5-6 hour job that i cant do myself.. but i cant really find specific posts about my car, only older/newer models etc
Now can anyone give me an idea of whats really involved (99 2.4, 4t40e)and how difficult it is to simply disconnect it for the time being(and are there any repercussions to doing so?)
Thanks as always gents! lol
Yeah it's simple on a TH125, 4t40e not so much iirc. Want to say you have to pull the axle to get the side cover off, so while not a very hard job per se, it's more time consuming.
