so i have recently swapped my motor, and pulled the axles out twice..and loss some fluid..plus there was a leak coming from the sela where the passanger axle goes into the tranny..my question is...how do i check the fluid to know how much to add..its on 03 eco and its a 5 speed..do i just guess..and could to much hurt it?? it seeems to go in gear fine and the tranny isnt whining at all
there are two plugs on the back side of the trans. you need to pull the higher plug if the two. and the car needs to be level. fill it in that hole until it runs out.
