tryin to remove my axels to pu tin the new trans. got everything out of the way, the axel moves back and forth but it wont come out of the trans. and idea?
Get a prybar or a stout screwdriver behind and GENTLY pry it out. There is a ring in there that kind of holds it. Should pop right out.

I misread I think. You may have to remove the steering knuckle or strut bolts to get more room / clearence.

use a prybar or simliar, give it a nice tap, turn the axle a bit, another tap,turn,tap.... until you can pull it out shouldn't take too long, and you shouldn't have to be very rough with it.
