2004 cavalier master clyinder issue?!

Hey guys, it always seems like im on here with a problem with my car!!! Ok so i just got my car all put back together tranny and all.. started GREAT the other day and today the last thing i had to was bleed my clutch, i cracked open the bleeder just following procedure. I realized i wasnt getting any preasure from the pedal.. i had my buddy pump the clutch a couple more times, i cracked the bleeder open again and just spit out.. now i repeated this a number of times and it just eventually stopped spitting fluid out... when i opened the cap that holds the fluid i saw it wasnt going down,.. which makes me think i may have a bad master cylinder or clutch master clyinder? it seems like im just having bad luck with this car but im sure everyone on here went through similiar things!! So please let me know if you have any ideas or if that is whats wrong with the car. 2004 cavalier ecotec 5spd manual.
