i was woundering if the 2.0L f23 with limited slip from an 05 cobolt would fit in my 04 cavy?
You mean the G85 F35? You have a F23 in your car right now.
The bell housings are the same, but the trans is a bit bigger and no one is 100% if it will physically fit into an J-body engine bay.
Well i think you should find out!

i dont believe i do have the F23 honestly...its an automatic and i thought i seen something with a B on it... idk i would have to double check on it
F23 = 5-speed M/T in 2000+ Js.
F35 = Cobalt SS 5-speed M/T.
G85 = LSD option for the F35.
If you have an auto then you do not have a L23 or F35(they are only manual transmissions). Both will require cutting and welding of new mounts on your frame.
aww that blows... ya i just checked yesterday after doing an oil change. my tranny says B4.. that soound about right for the auto's b.c i believe i have a junkyard motor and trans to be honest. bought it like that
