I'm looking at tranny's from a 2002 Sunifre 2.2L. Does it matter what VIN it is if I want the F23 Getrag tranny ?
Technically, no. The transmission is the same....... except the Eco is vin F, and the 2.2 OHV is vin 4. And they wont bolt to each other.

belhousing get the trans for your engine don't try and swap bellhousings the trans are cheap enough to buy the right 1 if you can't find either trans call more then 1 wrecker cause there VERY EASY TO FIND
