Maybe i can get this figured out, i notice when i start my car up whenever and i pull off and Shift into second that it seems too shift insanly nice then gets bit touchy when changing up into 2nd afterwords not really if tho i try i can get it to shift good into 2nd always but i just notice it seems like if the car sits and then i start her up and peal off 2nd goes in without even trying, is this maybe just the way my 2000 Sunfire 2.2L is. ? If anything, most cars shift smoother after the transmission is warm. Your problem is very strange, and unless it is actually difficult to shift into second after the first time, I would not worry about it.
