for about 5 days now my transmission has been shifting hard. i got the code P0113 so i bought a new sensor and disconnected the battery and it started shifting hard again. Ive checked the resistance on both sensors at room temp and they were the same so i no its not that. Ive checked the voltage in the wires to the sensor and i had 5.06v so thats good. and now at cruising speed my revs jump up 300-400 rpms so my torque converter is locking up and unlocking. It also engages into revers and drive hard. I dont no what else to do now. any info will help, Thanks.
I have an 03 cavi. eco, no mods, besides K&N filter, and 161k miles on my car.
Check the trans connector (BIG MF plug next to the battery).
Ive checked for shorts and the plug. both are good.
Could my throttle position sensor (TPS) be bad. what voltage should i be getting to it... which wire is which too cause there are 3 going to it.
How can i check to e see if my ecm is bad or do i have to take it in to get that checked out?
finally fix it. broken wire, shifts great now.
