Does anyone know where I can find side/pinion (Spider) gears for a 93 Geo Storm for my 98 Sunfire GT? Blew mine out, and having a hard time finding replacements. I did find a used 93 GSI tranny for $190ish, but the trans has 140k miles. I imagine since they're built tougher they'll likely be fine, but I'd prefer new if at all possible.
If you can wait a few days (probably this weekend) I'll be pulling apart a Geo DOHC trans. that had 68k mi. on it. I'd sell you the whole diff. for $100 shipped.

Well, I ended up getting the used tranny, hoping the shop will have it back by the weekend.
Uhm.... I was under the impression that the GSI diff will not fit our axles.

Don't know, I just walked to the back of the shop and grabbed one of my stock '96 axels and shoved it in the Geo trans diff. , it locked right in place...???

john i'll buy the diff if you still have it.
I have the geo differential. My axles both popped right in without any modifications.
