I know I've read this before but I can't find it today. I need to do the pan gasket and need to know how much fluid it will need when I refill it. Also, I've never been able to find the check plug. Can anybody provide the specifics on how to get to it? I know it's on the passenger side but do I have to get to it from underneath or is it visible with the wheel off?

I think I may have answered my own question.....finally

Looks like 7.4 quarts if only the pan is removed and the check plug should be visible with the passenger side wheel off.

heres a pic of where the plug is, if memory serves its a 10 or 11mm. also remember to keep the car level when you do the check.
