I was reversing today pretty quick today becasue i was late and was no parking at school....i wasnt looking, but i wanna say i was about 4000rpms in reverse and i felt it hit the limiter and my exhaust popped and shot a decent flame(as my friend said, he was behind me)

Is this normal or did something break lol it's the 5 speed Isuzu from a 1995 OHV 2.2, im 100% sure i was not at redline(talking about the 6200 limiter)
