Hey guys how is everyone. I was wondering if you guys can give me some opinions/comments in the ralco short shifter. I want to get one because I can't afford anything else so want to know what you guys think about it for the price. Thank you.

Just cut the stocker down and rethread it. You will get the same result, but with better quality.

I was under the impression that cutting the stock shifter just shortened the height not the actual throw since you arent changing the pivot point. But you are more indepth into this than I am so perhaps you are right. i dont know about the other models yet, but for the 95-99 they said if there were 20 or more interested it would be $65 a piece.

There are places online that you can find them cheaper than that. Ive seen them as cheap as $25 before.

I know ultrarev.com sells them, they had some cheap too.

That is correct. But the Ralco's pivot point is in the same location as the stock shifter. The only thing that is "short" about it is its overall height. So just save yourself some time and money and just cut the stocker down to your desired height.
