Hello, I bought a 02 cavalier 4 speed auto 2200 in november, recently the car has been shifting kinda hard when I drive it for the first time every day. After it warms up, it shifts nice and easy. Recently I had the TPS replaced and the air intake temp sensor, oil changed (synthetic oil) and an alignment. Any ideas whats going on? Its very stressful and kinda freaking me out. All help is very much appreciated. Filter and fluid change?
Intake air temp sensor is probably bad....or the wiring is.
Is your trac off light on?

No it was about 2-3 weeks ago, took it to the dealership and found it was the faulty TPS, replaced it no more issue with the trac light... still kind of lunging for the first mile of shifting then it smoothes out. I read online about the intake temp sens so I bought one of those (it was like $12 from advanced) to try it and installed it 2 days ago...would it of fixed it instantly or dont they need to adjust for awhile before it corrects?
