I bought a 96 cavalier but the engine and tansmission is newerr. Its a quad four engine five speed taranny i need to find a half shaft axel stub for the passenger side what year should i look for i know that some years came with the soild i need the part that attachees to the transmition not the wheel hub

Are you talking about the jackshaft? If so check for 97 Sunfire GT's

Im not really sure what it is called all i know is the garage took a two piece axle out and put a one piece axle in wich is wrong wasnt sure what years had the two piece axle for the 2.4 manual transmissions the person i bought it off of said it has a newer then 96 engine and tranny
