So it has came to my attention from Jeffie that our passenger side axles are no longer made as the correct assembly. So I went looking locally around here, and no one but one Autozone had any stock, and of the 11 they had only one that looked correct.
Added now...Old pics came from Matt, "GlowingCavy: Boosted Z" Thanks man.
So this is old and new ends. Wheel end.
Trans end Old vs new.
P/N on the new box.

So this is for the jack shaft setup? My understanding was they did away with it and went to a one long piece design?
I believe they are.

On a 2.2,2200,4T40E I replaced the passengers side and drivers side with both the same part number 66-1323 Cardone Select .The passengers side has a small splined stub on both ends that you can remove from the CV axle end.Sometimes the stub ends up staying in trans when removing it.
GM has the axle seal and sleeve replacement kit. Then you need special Kent Moore tools. Its a pain in the ___.
Looks like the same part numbers
