just like the title can a 2.2 eco clutch work on the LD9 trans? i have a friend selling a stage 3 exedy clutch he said if it will fit on my car he will sell it to me for cheap.
i searched around before i posted new topic. also i heard the eco and LD9 have same or identical internals so i hope the clutch will work, anyone do this?
Easiest way to check is to check part numbers for both cars. If I remember correctly they are different but quite remember why.
"Oil Leak ? What oil Leak ? Oh, Thats Just The Sweat From All The HorsePower!!"
I'll have to check that out thanks
What transmission is bolted to the LD9?
If they're both F23's, you should be able to use the clutch disk and maybe pressure plate, with the LD9 flywheel....... Can't remember what the Eco pressure plate looks like.

Clutch disc from the LD9 Getrag is slightly larger than the disc in the Ecotec Getrag but it will work. That's what I'm using on my hybrid setup, LD9 clutch with Ecotec pressure plate. It should work the other way around too, with the Ecotec clutch in the LD9 transmission, but I've never tried. The pressure plates are different and will not interchange.
Currently #4 in Ecotec Forced Induction horsepower ratings. 505.8 WHP 414WTQ!!!

Yeah I think I'm just going to hold off for now
Exedy never made a stage 3 for the 2.2L ecotec?

I found out it was an OEM that's why I decided not to get the clutch
