hello there, im panning to install a trans cooler on my ld9 manual trans.
does anyone has pics of this type of installation ? or how do i get the lines from the transmision.
thanks
as far as i have heard you can't on a manual
and more importantly you don't need it
JBO since July 30, 2001
Thanks my friend, now... Is there an specific trans oil i could use to maintain the viscocity or performance of it ?
Thing is tha i use this car for circuit races and after the the 5th lap i feel that the trans oil becomes nothing... I feel like it looses its property entirely.
Thanks
Gm synchromesch. Lukes oil additive may help some
Have a nice day.
The oil in a manual trans does nothing as far as the actual operation of the trans goes. It's all mechanical. I'm not sure how you're determining that the oil isn't doing it's job (which is only to lubricate the gears). What exactly is the trans doing that makes you think the oil isn't working?
.
Well in my words...
Everything starts just fine but after the fifth lap, i dont know if its the trans or my clutch that gives me touble to change between gears.
I dont actually feel when the i change from 1 to 2 gear and so on.. When you actualy have a play between gears at a regular temperature or road trip. You actually feel when you change from one gear to the other...
What could that be ? My clutch ? Clutch oil or trans it self ?
Thanks
