Just installed a ralco short shifter in my 05 cavalier. What part of the shifter base needs trimed to go into 1st gear? Anybody have a pic of what to trim? Its always hade a problem going into 1st. I got into the habit of hitting 2nd then it would go right into 1st, but now with the short shifter that doesn't always work. Maybe 1 out of every 7 times it will slide right in but 6 out 7 it doesn't. As for the ralco short @!#$er itself love it. Thanks.
