I came across a new problem that i haven't ran into before. Last night while driving i lost 2nd and 4th gear and when pulling out of the parking lot later i realised that i didn't have reverse either. I am going out to my garage to figure it out. Im thinking its the shifter cables because the shifter has been sloppy the past few months. Anyone run into this problem before? I also looked up the cables and it shows they are discontinued

Yep broken shift cable been there... acdelco makes the cables at any local acdelco dealer thats where i got mine

Nice TY. I completely forgot about the gm parts direct site. I called my local dealership and they told me they were discontinued.



As for the rack it has some internal play and needs to be replaced anyways. Once i get back to work ill do the rack along with BJ's/GA control arms/fix exhaust and the car should be good to go again.
