Has anyone experianced this problem.... For some reason unknown to me i keep blowing out dipsticks on my 98 5spd.... Ive tried 3 dipsticks and everytime i hit second at the drag strip i blow out the dipstick.... My cure has been a couple zip ties around the speedo sensor but its kinda hokey..... Anyone????

How's your pcv setup? Seems like there's serious crank case pressure that has nowhere to go.

agreed. Put a boost/vac gauge in there youll find out quick.
5spd trans dipstick is blowing out the back (Isuzu i believe) not oil dipstick and this started after i did the poly mounts.... maybe a kinked vent tube but i dont see how a kinked vent tube would cause this

Is the transmission over filled?
- Your not-so-local, untrained, uncertified, backyard mechanic. But my @!#$ runs
always filled to the middle of the hash marks not quite to full..... because thats what i thought and it didnt make a difference it blew it

Its not the poly mounts..
I cant recall on the isuzu but if its got a fill cap make sure the vent holes are open.
I know on the Getrag you put 2 or 2.6 qt of oil and thats all. I
Did you get a new dipstick or a junkyard one?

New dipsticks.... and yes this one is 2 quarts syncomesh and i will check the vent tube and see what happens..... it has the dipstick on the back side of the trans that is the fill port no fill cap

It's gotta be the vent. Let us know what you find.

Ended up being i unhooked the vent tube when i did the trans mounts and it fell below the dipstick line so it was pressurizing the case rather then the vent line hooked it up and it hasnt happened again
