Aside from the ring gear, are the differentials the same between the sohc and dohc 90-03 storms?

I've run a 1993 dohc turbo 4.12fdr in my 95 Cavalier
I looked at the sohc tranny at the same time with the difference being the fdr

I figured they were, no one on here really said. Good to know, i have a few low mileage sohc trans available for real cheap.
