I had a couple of flat tires away form home. The only tires that i could get were 2 different brands but all 4 are the same size just slightly different tread patterns. One of the tires is a bfgoodrich excelled ght another is a Douglas tire both of them are on the front. The other 2 that are on the back are the tires i got form the factory. The problem i am having is sometimes when i go over 50 mph i get a very slight vibration it is almost not even noticeable. Could this be due to the different types of tires or does any one else have a suggestion. any info would be very helpful
Thanks
Josh
P.S. both tires were balanced so i do not think that is what it is
I heard it is not good to mix different tires on the drive wheels, even if they are the same size.
As for the vibrations, do you have aftermarket wheels, and using hubcentric rings with them? Maybe return to the place who balanced your tires, tell them when it starts to vibrate, and tell them to rebalance for free.

The 2 fount have less than 5000 miles on them the back have 55000. the tread depth on the front is 8/32 and the back 5/32.
