hey sup guys i just ended up buying my car a set of new rims i think they will look great on the car let me know what you think

the rims are 18" ADR Phantoms and the tires are some nice all season 225/40/18 Essenza 210 Type R's (goodyear)

i dunno i desided not to get a packaged deal from wheelmax or sites like that because they always give you crappy ass summer tires with the rims and most of the sites charge you for mounting anyways so i turned to ebay ended up shelling out a little over 800 after shipping but still a pretty good deal for nice 18" with really good all season tires i think

i love those rims, they look very similar to mine, but as for your tires, those are what i have and i hate them. their ok in the dry weather but they suck hardcore in the rain, just trying to warn yah b4 u try to puch em in the rain. but those rims looks hawt

As a note OrangeZ, I work for a performance shop in Ontario and we sell Essenza tires as an 'entry level' tire. Nothing (Wanli, Nankang, Other no-name brands here) are as inexpensive but they really are a terrible tire. They're incredibly loud, have VERY little grip, and, despite their M+S rating, I wouldn't use them in the rail let alone ANY snow.

They're also NOT made by Goodyear. They're made by an independant tire manufacturer in the that mainly makes large truck tires (Sorry, but I can't recall the name)

I don't mean to put down your new purchase but I just wanted to let you know what you're getting.

The rims are pretty sweet though and the price can't be beat!

man this sucks alot if they dont have much grip i have a supercharged Z24 and i need all the grip i can get

i only got them because some guys on a mustang forum where stating how they where really good and gripped great for the money

o yeah they are made in coralation with goodyear and a company called SURE, they are aparently made in a good year plant or something like that i was reading up on them last night

i just hope there not as bad as you guys say they are because i need something decent ugg

there great in the dry weather, but in the rain they break loose like nothing, im goin to try and sell mine this year and buy some kuhmo ecsta 712
im sure you wont mind them, and as for the noise, there quieter than the stock tires

well thats good that there not to bad in dry weather, im not one for driving crazy in the rain, i like to keep my car in one peace lol, but another thing i found out today that was actualy good news is that the rims are light weight rims and weigh in around 15lbs each, so im pretty glad about that atleast

black03coupe how are they in the snow ? ill assume not the greatest

i drove them in 1" of snow because i waited to put on my snow tires, and they weren't terribly considering there a performance tire, but i def. wouldnt be driving in the winter with them on.

Wow, i love those wheels, my question for you is this, why do you care how they handle snow? if ur running your 18s in the winter you need be shot... especialy when theyre as sexy as those are!

i have a winter car, but im just wondering how well they did in snow because sometimes it likes to randomly snow in april here ugg

I was just gonna buy a set of those the other day....i didn't find the right bolt pattern though. They are tight ass rims.

yeah there pretty awesome i just got them in yesterday, i went and had them mounted and high speed balanced yesterday aswell ill try to get some pics of them up sometime this week
