Ok so did anybody else who just had 03 (sunfire) hubcaps have problems with them? Two of them cracked (I don't hit curbs, no scratches on them it looks like stress cracks). So I was driving down the interstate one windy day with my window rolled down a notch, and i could hear the hubcap rattling like it was moving because of the wind, then I went to pass somebody and all the sudden i hear SNAP as I sped up. Lol... then I saw a little piece of silver plastic bouncing down the highway behind me. About 1/3 of the hubcap just broke off, and it threw the wheel balance off so I had to take it off.
Running steelies at the moment since another one was about to crack also. Thinking about taking them back to the dealership... I think my warranty should cover that...
its not uncommon for them to crack almost everyone i know with them has ended up having them fall off or they just got tired of them and took them off

intresting ... i own a 2002 stock cavalier with 14" wheel covers .... and nothing like that has ever happened to me. I would tell your dealership to replace them. bumper to bumper warrenty.

Hmmm they're 15's, could be a flaw with that mold or something. I also had a 96 sunfire with 15" hubcaps and even after hitting a few curbs with those, they never cracked. My parents might be sending me money maybe if it's enough I'll just buy rims

my hubcap is cracked and kinda bulging a little... but I am not going to have them on there much longer
one of mine on my 98 cav started cracking. but i'm also going to be getting me some new wheels here soon so it's not bothering me too bad
