Does anyone know what you can go up to on the tires on the factory 16" rims? I have the 02 Cavalier LS Sport wheels, the 10 spokes. I have 205/55/16's now & I was wanting to see about maybe going w/ a 225/50/16? Thanks everyone!!

2000 Cavalier Z24 A4 Green Met.
I've just put my new Dunlop Sp Sport FM901 on my stock Z24 wheels....the 1998 version ( 5 spokes) . And yes they are 225/50/16 . They do stick out of the wheel by half off inch......but i like them.. Give a larger footprint..They have exactly the same heigth of the 205 but wider....Anyway ur choice
Ya the 225 50 is probally as wide as you would want to go with the stock wheels, they aren't really that wide to begin with... So 225 would be reasonable.

Awesome! Thanks guys, I just put new struts on & haven't got it aligned yet & it almost ate the inside of my tires!!!! I am going to get it aligned & get new tires!!!
