I have noticed that on my rims there seems to be small areas with looks like spots of brown dirt. However, these spots do not clean off. I am wondering if anyone knows what I am talking about and has any products or solutions to removing it and gettng my rims back to looking like new.
Have you tried the Mr.Clean wheel eraser? I had rust stains, and rubber scuff marks on my wheels, and the eraser took them right out, nothing else that I tried would. It's worth a shot if nothing else works, they're inexpensive and you can probably get them at just about any store that sells automotive items.

I don't know about you, but it could be brake dust. I get that a lot on my front rims.
So if it is brake dust, what's the best way to get it off?
brake dust, for me it just scrubs off. Takes a little elbow grease
