i have a pair of 17 inch exel rims and the outer lip is starting to chip , looks like the finish has been peeling off the lip, does anyone know if there is a way to fix this problem, i have called tire and shops and they dont have clue of what im talking about, im thinking bout sanding it but i dont want to scratch the rim, any suggestions?
wanna see a dead body, @$^# around and you'll be it
well sanding it is going to result in a scratched rim. thats what sand paper does. you would have to keep working your way up w/ a fine grit sand paper. also what kind of lip is it? polished, chrome, etc...? if its polished you may have to take it some where to get fixed
TAKE IT to a rim shop before you sand it........
