if you want other tires, simply look on tire sites and look at the traction and treadwear ratings.
AA is tops in traction
and the lower the treadwear, usually the softer, but least life.

Keep in mind, traction rating is how well the car is during wet braking.
If ya want a summer tire, azenis sports would do the trick. They like to pick up a lot of road debris.

Great autocross/street tire. Seem to be a better street tire then the azenis (last longer,cheaper) and they hold up to the heat alot better.
They used to be a steal (225/40/18 were like $105), i noticed the prices rose quite a bit. Though that may be universal across all brands with the higher petrol prices.
