As it is only a 225 tire shouldn't be a problem. If you get to the 235 245 it would be a concern. How much space do you have behind there now?

Easiest way is to put a bead of clay on the backside of your tire and run the steering from stop to stop, and then drop the bags and see if it deforms.

235's are not a problem at all. I have them when I had my bags on and it never ever rubbed anything. This time around I am gonna go 235/40/18 instead of the 235/35/18's that I had. They road like a brick LOL.
