What is everyone using to remove waterspots on polished lips on rims.
I tried polish, soap and water etc.
What is the best stuff to use!
Use soap and water but then try drying it with a shammy (sp?) That should kill the waterspots I would think.
Don't use anything too abraisive or the finish might come right off of the lip.
Thanks for all the Suggestions everyone!
Yeah I know all too well not to use anything abrasive.(Sometimes I think a wash mitt is too abrasive).
I just don't want to ruin the Finish on the Lips of the rims!
So is it just waterspots from water drying on them, or are they spots that dont come off with water? If its the former, chamois will work - havent had any experience with the latter though, so don't wanna be responsible for wrecking them on you
50/50 mixture or water and white vinegar... add more vinegar if that doesnt work...
It's just the water drying on them after I wipe them down with the Chamois, There is always water in the little Nicks and Crevices that you can't get at and when you go for a cruise or leave it for an hour it has the water spots there!
Use a smaller DRY microfiber cloth to take waterspots and any film off thats left on them. I have black passion 5's with a polished lip and they're a $%$% to take care of, but thats what works best for me.
Ok Thanks I'll try that .
