what exatcly is it? im getting my rims powder coated and i wanted a polished lip, so is it just chrome powder coat or what?
No... A polished lip is just that- polished...
Its metal, sanded like crazy until it becomes smooth and shiny...

do what you want, its your money. a pic of the rims would help too because not all rims look good w/ a polished lip since some rims dont have a continues lip that runs all the way around. i would just tell them to powder coat the whole rim
they're mr7s, dont have any ics yet but everyone knows what they look like
dont get a polished lip on those. there is barely a lip on it. the spokes go out just about all the way
Here is a pic of the 17's I used to have on my Cavy. Notice how the spokes are set back like was said above. I also don't think that MR7s will look good with a lip.

those look sweet! I was going to get some white w/polished lip... got black w/polished lip instead... I really like mine... my car would have looked nice with white too..
