"Ride Match System
The ride match system simulates a "road test" that senses the vibrations generated by the wheel and tire. The source of these disturbances is something that cannot be sensed during wheel balancing. When the system detects a problem, it prompts the technician to diagnose and correct the problem. The result improves ride quality, performance and wear."
That quote is from discount tire direct. I never heard of this before, it cost $10 per tire. Is this a good idea or a waste of money? Or does there mounting and balancing equipment just suck?
I would think that it would be worth it. When the wheel/tire is balanced, that's it. But for this system, if your brake rotor/hub/etc is a little off balance, then that should be able to be corrected somewhat.
But They are shipping the tires, and that would really screw things up when I rotated them.
