did you read the bottle? That stuff may not be clearcoat safe. I dont think buffing is going to fix that. that usually stains the clearcoat all the way through.
most certainly read the bottle!! even went as far as testing it before using......this appeard 5 minutes AFTER it was done...........someone on another board suggested autosol
ps-- it's apparantly clear coat safe
15, 20 sec max.........did the test spot and everything. it looks like $hit close up, but not noticable back about 5 feet.........
Dude thats pretty bad.
I've never seen any wheel/tire spray damage wheels like that, and I use it all the time.
Personally though I don't really like Black Magic products. I use Eagle 1 for wheel/tire cleaner, and Meguires for everything else.
Heres the excerpt from the Black Magic website:
"Black Magic® No Scrub Wheel Cleaner™
Black Magic® All Wheel Cleaner™ is a wheel cleaner made to end all the confusion for the proper care of your wheels. Wheel cleaner's tough-task formula dissolves brake dust, grease, grime, oil and road film on contact. For use on: ABS plastic, clear coated, chrome, aluminum, polished, wire, painted, anodized, mag."
Definitely shouldn't have damaged your wheels based on the product description. See what you can do to fix it first - if its permanently damaged, contact Black Magic directly.

that really sux man, when i bought my 17" FAST virus's i asked the shop owner what to clean them with, he said strictly water and soap, nothing else and he went on to show me a rim of another customers who was trying to "scam" him, apparnetly he used some cleaner with chemicals and it ate some of the clearcoat on his rims and he wanted them replaced, so me, i stay away from any cleaners. soap, water and a wash mitt does the trick, even when i shine my tires up, i am very careful not to get any on the rims!! i hope you get those fixed man!
ha, got u too huh... totally @!#$ my rims up... it peeled my friends clear off of his polished lips, and it stained mine

i ended up using 2 cans off eagle one NEVER DULL and now they look like new again but it took me about 6 hours.
good luck man
My car was made with wrenches, Not chopsticks.
dont do it while your rims are hot. if your rims were hot, that may have been the culprit

yeah, that's the plan! the guy that gave me the quote swears by using regular car wax!? and autosol, but away from the sprays........as everyone else has also said!!
I've also heard aluminum foil and coke for cleaning chrome rims.

by the sounds of things here maybe i shouldn't use never doll on my rims
i was planning on to polish them up,there just a polished aluminum rim will this hurt the rim you think.
Greg
Soap and water only here..... Then wax them. You'll be straight then.
that sucks. the odds of you actually getting them to pay for your rims is slim to none.
