Anyone have any experience with Kumho ECSTA ASX tires? I'm considering going with an all-season tire and these sounded pretty good. They got some mixed reviews on tire rack though, some people saying they are not really high performance tires. I noticed some threads with people complaining about their brand name tires, so I thought I better play it safe and get some opinions on here. thnx
i have kumho ecsta 711's and they are pretty good tires. i havent had a problem w/ them yet.
Thats a newer line up for Kumho. Its not really a "high performance tire" but its not much of an "all season" its basically a performance all season... it won't really work for taking you around the autocross, or down the strip, but for just daily street driven cars, they work awsome. I've got a few customers with them now, and they love them.. quite, and smooth... decent wet traction, great in the dry... Keep in mind thats for everyday normal conditions....

I had a set on my 16s and they had better grip than stock and MUCH better wet and snow traction, great all season tire

ive had them there the cheapest best quality tire i think.. the treadware is like 380 or 400 something.. pretty damn high for low pro 18's.. you shouldnt be disappointed
I have them on my stock 16s and they seem to be a pretty good tire. I havent had them very long but havent had any problems with them. they seem to be priced pretty well too...
treadwear rating is actually 420 very high rating
