rim choice

OK, here's the deal, I plan on getting a set of Konig Unknöwns but I've got a few questions. The two sizes I've been looking at are 19x8 and 20x8 which is a little wide for my application. I plan on dropping my car ,when I get my Gravana suspension in, as much as I can while still being able to turn all the way. Will the rims above fit with around a 40+mm offset? Also, what size tires do y'all recommend? Thanks in advance.

19's 225/35/19
20's 225/30/20
as far as whinh ones that will be up to you. they will be the same overall diameter. with 19's or 20's you will have to watch out for potholes because you will crack your rim. with 20's there is less tire there

Thanks for the info. So I guess the width will work? Right now I have 18s w/40 series tires, I didn't realize going to a 35 would make that big of a difference. Do you think I could get away with 35s on the 20"? I've seen some 30s and thats not enough tire IMO.

you can but i dont recommend it. they will be atleast an inch or more bigger in diameter. which means rolling yor fenders and thaking a chance on rubbing. if your car is lowered that is. even if it it isnt i think i will still rub. i would check for clearance from your strut and such.

Yeah, just kinda needed someone to talk me into doin' the right thing. I guess 20s are a little overboard for a daily driver.thanx
