I have ContiExtremeContact 205/55/16 on the z. My problem is the soft sidewall on these tires. The car handles great in dry and even better in wet but in dry situations there is way too much tire squeel when cornering. I've decreased this problem by running more air in them but to get rid of the problem I have to run too much air which takes away the good handling characteristic of the tire. And forget about high speed when running too much cause it feels like yer rollin on balloons. My question is for the next set of tires does anyone have a recommendation for a better all season tire? I'm looking for all the good qualities of this tire but with a stiffer sidewall. I'm not sure of the recommended cold tire pressure for the vehicle and tire but the best compromise I can find with this tire is running 37-37.5 psi cold. Alot less tire squeel, slightly worse handling and I can still change lanes at the speed limiter without getting scared. I'd like to have a tire that handles like this one at 34 psi cold with a stiffer sidewall but still has excellent wet traction. Also with the higher pressure I've noticed tracking with this tire and also when corning on bumps the rear end wants to get loose. Should I run less pressure in back? or more? Ok I'm rambling. Thanks.

Since no one has an opinion on high performance all seasons I've done some more research and I can't find a tire that outperforms the conti on paper. Real life experience would really help me here. Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S, Yoko AVS dB S2, or Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. Think any of these tires would perform better than the contis? Do all of these extreme performance all seasons have the soft sidewall problem?
I also have ContiExtremeContact on my Z24. These are V-rated tires and should have a stiffer sidewall so you should feel even less "loose corner roll" compared to an H-rated tire. I don't get any tire squeel. I keep the tires inflated to 40psi and I don't have any issues. I find them awesome in rain and snow.
I put Falken ZIEX 512s on my wife's car. Zero problem and they handle awesome. I haven't even noticed hydroplaning.
Just another option to consider. Personally I think Michelin's are overpriced.
Also, you could consider Nokian WR tires. My buddy uses these and loves them.
